On October 19, 2024, the first "SEMiBAY" - the Bay Area Semiconductor Industry Ecological Expo (hereinafter referred to as "SEMiBAY") was successfully concluded at the Shenzhen Convention and Exhibition Center (Futian).

As a new semiconductor industry ecological expo with independent intellectual property rights in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, this "SEMiBAY" is themed "Core Powering the Future, Co-creating Ecology" with an exhibition area of 40,000 square meters. The exhibition has set up six professional exhibition areas including wafer manufacturing, packaging and testing, compound semiconductors, and automotive semiconductors, covering the entire semiconductor industry chain and key application scenarios. It attracted more than 400 leading domestic and foreign semiconductor companies including Applied Materials, Lam Research, KLA-Tencor, Tokyo Electric Power Electronics, and Advantest to participate in the exhibition, with an offline visitor number of about 68,000.

During the exhibition, a number of important achievements were released, including Founder Microelectronics' automotive/industrial SiC MOS1200V new ecological products, as well as the innovative achievements of Shenzhen National High-tech Industry Innovation Center, Guangdong Xinci and other institutions in multiple fields such as intelligent analysis platforms, core components, and advanced equipment. The exhibition also launched a series of industry development reports in key areas such as design, manufacturing, equipment, and EDA, established the first "Wanxin Award", and joined more than 400 companies to participate in the co-construction of the Bay Area semiconductor ecosystem.

In addition, this "Wanxin Exhibition" also held a closed-door meeting for high-level strategic discussions, a summit forum, and 22 cutting-edge technology forums such as the China Integrated Circuit Dean Forum, the Greater Bay Area Semiconductor Industry Investment Strategy Development Forum, and the Integrated Circuit Materials Industry Development Summit. These activities attracted more than 1.08 million visitors to participate in learning and observation through online and offline methods, and jointly discuss and promote the future development of the integrated circuit industry.
